ARC BRATISLAVA FASTEST ON DAY ONE IN DUBAI

The second and final free practice session of the 4 Hours of Dubai weekend saw the no44 ARC Bratislava set the fastest lap of the day, with Yann Ehrlacher posting a 1m48.418 lap, seven tenths faster than the best time set in FP1.
In fact, three cars went quicker than the benchmark set in FP1 by Alex Quinn, with the no5 United Autosports Oreca of Mikkel Jensen lapping in 1m48.663, 0.245s slower than Ehrlacher and 0.25s faster than the no30 RD Limited Oreca after James Allen’s best lap of 1m48.925.
NIELSEN RACING FASTEST IN FP1
The first free practice session of the 4 Hours of Dubai weekend was held under blue skies with the thermometer showing a very warm 25 degrees centigrade.
At the end of the 90-minute session the no64 Nielsen Racing Oreca was the fastest of the 46 entries, with Alex Quinn posting a 1m49.182 lap, 0.228s ahead of Giorgio Roda in the no5 United Autosports and a further tenth of a second ahead of the no88 Proton Competition after Lorenzo Fluxa posted a 1m49.537 best lap.
TV DISTRIBUTION FOR THE 4 HOURS OF DUBAI
Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series will be held at the Dubai Autodrome in the UAE, with the first race on Saturday 31 January and the second on Sunday 1 February.
For those fans who cannot attend in person, the races from Dubai will be available to see live online on the official ALMS and around the world on various platforms and broadcasters, either live or as 60-minute highlights.
DAYTONA 24 WINNER JAKOBSEN BACK IN ALMS ACTION
Two time Asian Le Mans Series Champion Malthe Jakobsen added another important trophy to his collection when he stood on the top step of the LMP2 podium at the end of the Rolex 24 at Daytona last weekend alongside his Crowdstrike Racing by APR teammates George Kurtz, Alex Quinn and Toby Sowery.
The no4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR Oreca-Gibson is back in action this weekend in the 4 Hours of Dubai, with fellow Daytona winner George Kurtz joining the 22-year-old Dane and Switzerland’s Louis Deletraz, who finished 6th in the GTP class. Alex Quinn is also back in the ALMS this weekend, competing against his fellow Daytona winners in LMP2 for Nielsen Racing.
