Division B
BEIRUT (Lebanon) - The FIBA Regional Office-Asia on Friday, June 19, has confirmed the schedule of games of the FIBA U18 Women's Asia Cup 2026-Division B to be held in Bangkok, Thailand in July.
The Group Phase will be held from July 13-15, featuring 4 games each day.
The top 2 teams will earn automatic berths to the Semi-Finals, with their respective opponents to be determined through the Qualification to Semi-Finals, made up of teams finishing 2nd and 3rd in their groups.
The Qualification to Semi-Finals will be held on July 17. The said game-day will be opened by the Classification Round 7-8 game, which will pit the 4th-placed teams from the 2 groups versus one another.
The knockout Semi-Finals, on the other hand, will be played the following day, shortly after the Classification Round 5-6 match between the losing sides from the Qualification to Semi-Finals.
Winners of the penultimate phase will then converge in the Final set on June 19, where the victorious side will earn the coveted promotion and compete in Division A of the next FIBA U18 Women's Asia Cup.
Preceding the Final would be the Third-Place Game, where the losing teams from the Semi-Finals will have one last chance to salvage a podium finish and take home a bronze medal.
The Philippines conquered the previous Division B competitions in China back in 2024 following a mighty 4-game sweep, and are bound to make their Division A debut in this year's edition set in October.
Division A
BEIRUT (Lebanon) - The FIBA Regional Office-Asia on Wednesday, June 19, has confirmed the schedule of games of the FIBA U18 Women's Asia Cup 2026-Division A to be held in Seremban, Malaysia in October.
The Group Phase will run from October 4 to 6, with 4 games to be played each day as Groups A and B will play in a single round-robin format.
The top 2 teams from each group will head straight to the Semi-Finals, with their opponents to be determined through the Qualification to Semi-Finals, made up of teams finishing 2nd and 3rd in their groups.
The Qualification to Semi-Finals is set on October 8, the same day where the Classification 7-8 game, which pits the 4th-placed teams from the 2 groups versus one another, will be played to begin the Final Phase.
The knockout Semi-Finals, on the other hand, will be played the following day, right after the Classification 5-6 match, which will feature the losing sides from the Qualification to Semi-Finals.
Winners will then duke it out for the championship in the Final on October 10, to be preceded by the Third-Place Game where the losing sides from the Semi-Finals will look to salvage a podium finish.
Australia are coming in as the defending 2-time FIBA U18 Women's Asia Cup champions after a successful title defense in the 2024 competitions in Shenzhen, China by beating the host nation, 96-79.
