Raudondvaris Hoptrans win FIBA 3x3 World Tour Chengdu 2025

CHENGDU (China) – Raudondvaris Hoptrans capped a flawless tournament with a hard-earned 21-17 win over Amsterdam RABOBANK in the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Chengdu 2025 final, proving they’re one of the teams to beat this season.


The Lithuanians, who finished top-5 in Utsunomiya, left no doubt in Chengdu—going 5-0. In the Final, Amsterdam pushed Raudondvaris hard, tying the game up at 17 after an emphatic Worthy De Jong slam dunk. From that point on, however, it was all Raudondvaris as they made the biggest shots and the most critical stops to secure their first World Tour win of the 2025 campaign.


Big man Aurelijus Pukelis dominated around the basket against Amsterdam, scoring 10 points on top of 5 rebounds and 2 two-pointers. Evaldas Džiaugys also did well, tallying 5 points, 4 rebounds, 3 highlights and 1 two-pointer. As for Amsterdam, Bryan Alberts led the way with 7 points.


For his brilliance throughout the tournament, Evaldas Džiaugys was named Chengdu World Tour Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament.


In the individual competitions, Tsubasa Iseki of Yokohama tallied 9 points with 12.82 seconds left to take the crown in the Shoot Out Contest presented by China Telecom, while Piotr Marceli "Grabo" Grabowski prevailed in the China Telecom Dunk Contest.
