Sun. 15 May 2022 – Mercedes-EQ's Nyck de Vries delivered a supremely controlled drive to win the second race in the 2022 Shell Recharge Berlin E-Prix double-header, heading home ROKiT Venturi Racing's Edoardo Mortara and Mercedes-EQ teammate Stoffel Vandoorne. Reigning champion de Vries powered to victory at the Tempelhof Airport circuit, the scene of his Season 7 title triumph, with Mortara following 2.5s back as Saturday's windy conditions made way for weekend-high temperatures. Vandoorne made it two Mercedes-EQ-run Silver Arrow 02 cars on the podium and three Mercedes-EQ powertrains in the top three. The Belgian's third-place finish also extended his silverware streak to three races. Lucas di Grassi (ROKiT Venturi Racing) came home fourth to extend that to four Mercedes-powered cars in the top four in a dominant outing on home soil. Robin Frijns (Envision Racing) wound up a battling fifth after a race-long back-and-forth between the Dutchman, António Félix da Costa (DS TECHEETAH), who finished in sixth and a gaggle of cars behind all fighting to maximise their points haul as Season 8 passed its half-way stage. Oliver Rowland (Mahindra Racing) made good progress from 10th at the outset to an eventual seventh - the Yorkshireman running as high as fifth at one stage. TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team's André Lotterer took the chequered flag in eighth position, not quite able to capitalise on practice and qualifying pace. Jean-Éric Vergne crossed the line in ninth, just ahead of fellow title challenger Mitch Evans [Jaguar TCS Racing] who took the final point in 10th. After eight races and at the halfway point in Season 8 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Vandoorne is top of the Drivers' standings running on 111 points, with Mortara moving into second on 99 points and Vergne now third, a further four points back. Round 9 in the biggest-ever 16-race calendar is the Jakarta E-Prix on 4 June, the first time the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship has raced in Indonesia. Lucas is a tough one to fight, and I had a little more pace than him at that point and managed to pull it off cleanly." Edoardo Mortara claims second win of the season in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Jean-Éric Vergne launches late challenge but settles for second Stoffel Vandoorne retains lead in the Drivers’ standings with a third-place finish for the Mercedes-EQ driver in front of home fans BERLIN, Germany. Sat. 14 May 2022 – Edoardo Mortara (ROKiT Venturi Racing) produced a complete drive to seal victory in the 2022 Shell Recharge Berlin E-Prix Round 7, heading home Jean-Éric Vergne (DS TECHEETAH) and Stoffel Vandoorne (Mercedes-EQ). Mortara had it all to do to keep a fiesty-looking Vergne back and the decisive moment came on Lap 37 as the Venturi driver went on the defensive at Turn 6, luring JEV into a move resulting in the Frenchman diving too deep and falling 1.5s back. From there, the win was Mortara's, though Vergne scrapped hard to take second spot from fourth on the grid. Vandoorne produced one of the drives of the day to recover from being shuffled down the order to 12th at the end of Lap 12. The Belgian had slipped by six by the halfway stage and looked as good a bet as any for the race win. Ultimately, he had to settle for third after a back-and-forth with Vergne and while the lead pair fought each other but that was enough to see the Mercedes-EQ driver hold on to the standings lead. TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team pair, André Lotterer and Pascal Wehrlein, and Mitch Evans (Jaguar TCS Racing) fought amongst themselves throughout, eventually winding up with Lotterer in fourth ahead of Evans in fifth and Wehrlein sixth with Evans no doubt the happiest of that trio to score well having started ninth. Sam Bird showed good pace in the other Jaguar to follow in seventh having battled his way from 15th on the grid. António Félix da Costa (DS TECHEETAH) had run with his teammate towards the front of the pack early on but slipped to eighth, as did front-row qualifier Alexander Sims (Mahindra Racing) who finished ninth. Reigning champion Nyck de Vries couldn't climb through the order as his teammate had done - the pair having run together through the opening laps - but the Dutchman nonetheless salvaged a point with 10th. That sees Vandoorne move to 96 points, with Vergne three points back and Evans 11 shy of the Frenchman while Mortara leapt into fourth. Mercedes-EQ reaffirmed its Teams' advantage with a nine-point margin over DS TECHEETAH. ROKiT Venturi Racing sits third. The 2022 Shell Recharge Berlin E-Prix Round 8 is tomorrow from the Berlin Tempelhof Circuit, with FP1 set to kick things off tomorrow morning at 07:15 CEST, with the race itself to follow at 15:04 CEST. After the qualifying we were already very happy, but this race was amazing, very stressful because there were different strategies that I had to defend. But I am happy with second, another podium and more points - hopefully we can finally win a race this year. But other than that okay. "The pace of the car was good, it was better in the middle part of the race than at the end, maybe in the middle part I could have gained more time more advantage. But its okay, we are going to learn from this race and move on until tomorrow." I did not have the best opening lap, I lost so many places I was probably down in P15 at one point. [2022年5月14日，杜拜] ：SDG FairBreak女子T20板球邀請賽2022來到第九天，今天將會進行單循環賽階段的最後兩場比賽，頭場由Falcons對上Tornadoes，前者勝出擲毫並選擇先擊球。本場將為會有港隊成員Mariko Hill及瑪利琳分別為Falcons及Tornadoes披甲上陣。 Falcons一如既往派出Chamari Athapaththu 和Danni Wyatt開場，她們亦不負眾望強勢進攻。可惜在第3.4回合，Chamari Athapaththu不小心僅以板邊碰到球，而該球直接飛到捕手手上。Chamari Athapaththu僅得20分就被接殺，是她在是次邀請賽中最差的成績。不過加上今天的2球六分，她已擊出12個六分，比第二的擊球手多5個。 及後出場的港將Mariko Hill，她夥拍Danni Wyatt積極取分，曾經把每回合得分推高至8.2分。在10.2回合，Danni Wyatt把球打高，被防守球員在邊界接殺，個人得分32分，共3個四分和1個六分，此時Falcons得71分。 Mariko Hill在下一球便擊出四分，讓Falcons保持氣勢。可惜於12.1回合，拍擋Suzie Bates擊球時把球擊向投球手，投球手意圖截球未果，僅手指頭碰到該球。Mariko Hill因準備跑分，所以已離開安全區，因此當球快速滾向三柱門時，未能及時回防，不幸被跑殺，最後得分21分。 上半場後半局Suzie Bates 盡顯隊長風範，成為得分主力，並一直留到最後，可惜未有擊球手能夠配合。她個人最終得分41分，共5個四分。Falcons以138分完成上半場。 Tornadoes派出Sophie Devine 及Sterre Kalis 開場，她們深知必須勝出此場才能晉級，所以從一開始便進取地得分。8個回合內，即使Mariko Hill已瞓身阻截了數個界外球，Tornadoes 仍已取得70分。 Mariko Hill之後獲得投球的機會，她有數球都讓擊球手無法招架，2個回合僅失9分。此時，得分達52分，共4個四分和3個六分的Sophie Devine卻因傷暫時退場。比賽還剩餘54球，Tornadoes只需49分便能勝出。Mariko Hill繼續投球，3個回合僅失14分，是全隊失分率最低得投球手。 Falcons 在14.1回合取得突破，Gunjan Shukla把得分達50分，共8個四分的Sterre Kalis 投殺，Tornadoes此時得分112分。在16.1回合Gunjan Shukla再投殺一個擊球手，似乎為Falcons帶來希望。比賽來到最後2個回合，Tornadoes仍需8分，擊球手們背負著全隊的希望，找機會得分。南非的Sune Luus 在第5球擊出1個四分，增加投球手的壓力。 Mariko Hill 被獲派投出最後一個回合的重任，她的第1球投向左手擊球的Sita Rana Magar ，她並沒有擊中，球直接到捕手手中。第2球，擊球手移動位置，並利用球的速度擊出四分。該球越過了邊界，Tornadoes也超越了Falcons的得分，勝出比賽。積分榜上Tornadoes更超越了South Coast Sapphires 及Falcons，以第三名晉身準決賽。這也意味著South Coast Sapphires無緣準決賽。 第二場由Barmy Army迎戰Warriors，前者勝出擲毫並選擇先防守。代表Barmy Army的Ruchitha Venkatesh和Iqra Sahar，以及代表Warriors的李芷心和潘寶怡均會出戰。 Warriors派出Hayley Matthews 及Esha Oza 開場，Hayley Matthews在第1球跑了2分後，接連打出3個四分。第0.6球她們在跑分時遲疑了，結果Esha Oza 在一球都沒有打過的情況下出局，李芷心接替入場。在第2.1球，她終於有機會擊球，可惜還有時間好好感受世界級的投球，她就被投殺了。 Mignon du Preez 其後入場，夥拍Hayley Matthews穩住形勢。10個回合後，Warriors得分81分，仍然只有2人出局。第11.1回合，Hayley Matthews在跑第2分時被跑殺，最後得分52分，共7個四分。此球由巴西的Laura Cardoso 扔給身為捕手的Heather Knight ，是一球漂亮的跑殺。Heather Knight 身為英格蘭的隊長，主要崗位為擊球手，偶爾也會投球，在近兩場賽事更擔任起捕手，可算是一個真正的全能球員。 Barmy Army今天憑著出色的防守，跑殺了3人。留下來的Mignon du Preez成為得分重心，她個人最終得分75分，共6個四分和3個六分。Warriors以156分完成上半場。 Warriors投出的第1 球便以為把Barmy Army的Laura Wolvaardt 接殺，不過裁判經慢鏡重播証實，擊球手並沒有碰到球，所以接殺並不成立。不過在第1.2球，Laura Wolvaardt真的把球打高，Warriors的Mignon du Preez跳高單手把她接殺了。第2.6球跟第0.1球同為Shamilia Connell投球，同樣被Hayley Matthews接著，僅得6分便被接殺。 主要擊球手們均被接殺，Barmy Army 10個回合後僅得45分。在13.2回合，Fatima Sana被投殺，此時Barmy Army僅得58分，而當中有一半的分數都來自年僅20歲的Fatima Sana ，她得到全隊最高的34分，共5個四分。 第14.1回合，Hayley Matthews投出的球被擊球手打至空中，由潘寶怡接殺。其實在這接殺之前，潘寶怡在這個防守位置已經截停了不少球，讓擊球手無法跑分。第15.4回合，再有擊球手出局，Iqra Sahar得到擊球的機會。 Iqra Sahar 努力與拍檔跑分，希望盡力收窄差距，可惜在17.5回合，被判阻門出局。港將Ruchitha Venkatesh 隨即接替入場，她今仗表現優異，把握機會打了1個四分，最後得9分，Barmy Army以102分完成20回合，負Warriors 54分。Warriors終於「破蛋」作為安慰獎。 單循環賽階段結束，晉級準決賽的隊伍包括Spirit、Barmy Army、Tornadoes及Falcons，South Coast Sapphires、Warriors提早結束FairBreak旅程。 明天為休息日，後天（14號）將會有四強對戰，香港時間晚上8時及12時將會分別上演Spirit對Falcons及Barmy Army對Tornadoes。所有比賽都會在香港板球facebook專頁直播。 資料及相片來源 ︰ 香港板球

[2022年5月13日，香港]: 香港男子及女子七人欖球代表隊將於明天出戰「英國超級七人欖球系列賽」的開幕賽，這是港隊自去年11月以來首次參加國際比賽。 港隊在月初已飛往英國，展開了為期六星期的集訓。兩天前，球隊在英國羅浮堡大學（Loughborough University）的訓練營中與英格蘭進行了一場模擬賽，為今場比賽準備。 今次歐洲集訓的港隊球員名單中除了大部分香港欖球界的精英外，還有多位具潛質的七欖新人，目標為一系列即將舉行的國際欖球賽事備戰，包括八月的「滙豐世界七人欖球系列賽」外圍賽和九月的「七人欖球世界盃」。兩支港隊將在今個週末出戰此行三場比賽中的首場比賽。 男子賽共有16支球隊參加，由主教練莊保羅（Paul John）帶領的男子隊被編入D 組，開幕戰的對手分別是國際欖球慈善機構Wooden Spoon、UK Navy 和英國七人欖球常客Karuta 七人欖球隊。另外，參賽球隊的陣容亦十分強大，隊伍中還有中國和西班牙，而上屆冠軍UK Army 亦有多個斐濟球員的代表。 莊保羅為首戰組建了一支實力平均的球隊，一向發揮穩定的禾獲特（Max Woodward）將與李卡度並肩，成為雙隊長。 除了這兩位作賽經驗豐富的球員外，還有幾位亞運金牌得主郭柏雅、靴貝特（Liam Herbert）、史圖戴爾（Hugo Stiles）和虎拿東尼（Alessandro Nardoni），教練還特別挑選了超級聯賽新星麥季聰出戰今場比賽。 女子賽方面則有十支球隊參賽，女子港隊將與Wooden Spoon、UK Army 和巴斯女子超級聯賽球隊交手。 李念殷和高香慧（Natasha Olson-Thorne）將再次擔任雙隊長，帶領著球隊的主力球員歐陽倩怡、莊嘉欣、藍嘉敏、潘凱恩和何維銨出戰。四位球隊新人中的兩位球員，米奇拉巴達莎（Micayla Baltazar）和蘇綺琦亦被挑選上場。 女子隊主帥莫以恆（Iain Monaghan）樂見香港精英女子球員有機會重返國際賽事，他表示：「能夠來到英國集訓真好。今個星期，我們與英格蘭的模擬賽打得很好，而且非常有競爭力，兩支球隊能夠互相切磋，獲益良多。」 今次參與集訓的女子隊陣容鼎盛，莫以恆計劃將球隊發揮極致，他充滿期待地說：「今次我們集結了一隊最具競爭力的女子七人欖球代表。我們很期待見到球員們的成長。在這裡，我們不是為了單一提高球隊的表現，而是為了更廣泛地提高香港精英七人欖球員的整體水平。 參賽的球隊不乏國際球星和英國頂尖球員，她們都是很好的競爭對手。我們會專注地發揮球隊的優勢，並為每星期建立新的目標水平。被挑選出戰首場比賽的球員主要都是恆常在香港體育學院訓練的球員，未被挑選的球員將會進行更多訓練，為下一場比賽作準備。」 香港男子七人欖球代表隊名單：（出戰第一場英國超級七人欖球系列賽） 禾獲特（雙隊長）、李卡度（雙隊長）、靴貝特、蔡紀駿、麥古洛、薩耶斯、虎拿東尼、麥堅尼韋斯、史圖戴爾、郭柏雅、麥季聰、杜靴迪、占士梳亞 香港女子七人欖球代表隊名單：（出戰第一場英國超級七人欖球系列賽） 高香慧（雙隊長）、李念殷（雙隊長）、藍嘉敏、歐陽倩怡、潘凱恩、米奇拉巴達莎、霍山文、莊嘉欣、何維銨、許文玲、林莎芘、蘇綺琦、陳芷晴、林芷欣 資料及相片來源 ︰ Elite Step Asia / HKRU

[2022年5月12日，杜拜] ：SDG FairBreak女子T20板球邀請賽2022來到第八天，繼續會上演兩場比賽，頭場由South Coast Sapphires對上Falcons，後者勝出擲毫並選擇先防守。本場將為會有港隊成員陳嘉瑩及Marina Lamplough分別為South Coast Sapphires及Falcons披甲上陣。 South Coast Sapphires派出Elyse Villani 和昨天的最佳球員Grace Harris 開場，兩人積極得分。雖然Grace Harris於4.5回合被投殺，但她已取得24，四分及六分各2球，為球隊取得一個不錯的開始。及後出場來自荷蘭的Babette de Leede 夥拍Elyse Villani 保持攻㔟，將得分率維持在每回合7分左右。 Marina Lamplough 由第11 回合開始投球，她的首3個回合僅失15分。第19回合是她的最後一個回合，在第4球，她把Babette de Leede 投殺，結束這對拍擋的攻勢，South Coast Sapphires 此時得分138分。Babette de Leede個人得分 45分，共4個四分。Marina Lamplough 完成4個回合，失30分，令1人出局，是Falcons全隊發揮得最好的投球手。她在下一個回合更飛身幫隊友接殺，可惜這2個出局來得太遲，最後South Coast Sapphires 得分152分。 Falcons 的擊球手們雖然有著不錯的擊球率，但遇上捕手Babette de Leede ，她們都未能長留在賽場上，主要擊球手Suzie Bates 在25分被她捕殺。其後陳嘉瑩投了2個回合，僅失8分，可惜未有更多的投球機會。 其中一個開場手Chamari Athapaththu 為得分榜榜首，卻僅得30分便被捕殺。之後，另一名主要擊球手也同樣地被捕殺後，Marina Lamplough得到擊球的機會，但主要崗位為投球手的她，在第1球便被投殺，未能為球隊挽回劣勢。South Coast Sapphires捕手Babette de Leede 隨後再捕殺2人，共令5人出局的她，成為今場的最佳球員。 20回合完成，Falcons以30分之差不敵South Coast Sapphires，但靠額外分已確保晉級準決賽。 第二場由Tornadoes迎戰Spirit，前者勝出擲毫並選擇先防守。今場唯一上場的港將為Tornadoes的文涓懿。 在第1.2回合，Spirit的其中一個開場手Natthakan Chantham 就被Sune Luus接殺，只得一隻「鴨子」，不過其後出場的擊球手並未受到影響。第三出場的Sophia Dunkley雖然在第5.4 回合就同樣被Sune Luus接殺，不過她得分達26分，共5個四分。 之後的擊球手把得分率維持在6分以上，16個回合後，Spirit得分107分。剩餘4個回合，擊球手們決定採取更進擊的態度，她們共擊出9個界外球，僅4球沒有得分。其中開場手 Sarah Bryce 最後得分39分，共5個四分。隊長Nicola Carey 最後得分53分，共9個四分和1個六分，帶領Spirit以156分完成上半場。 代表Spirit的世界第1投球手Sophie Ecclestone，在3個回合內便令Tornadoes的開場擊球手雙雙出局，包括隊長Sophie Devine 及港將文涓懿。第6.2回合，她更接殺了由英格蘭隊友Sophia Dunkley投出的一球，此時Tornadoes得30分。 Tornadoes的得分漸漸被拋離，10回合後得分僅得45分。隨後每個回合均有擊球手出局，包括捕手Sarah Bryce 快速的捕殺，Sophia Dunkley 和Natthakan Chantham 在邊界前的接殺。第15回合，Sophie Ecclestone再次投球，直接投殺2名擊球手。這回合結束，Tornadoes得分81分，8人出局。 第15.2回合，由上次令4人出局的Shizuka Miyaji投球，Sarah Bryce再次捕殺擊球手，Tornadoes僅剩1人。Sophie Ecclestone投出她的最後一個回合，她的第1球再次直接投殺擊球手，Tornadoes全員出局。Sophie Ecclestone令5人出局，僅失8分，成為本場最佳球員。Spirit以75分大勝Tornadoes，繼續穩坐榜首位置。 今日賽事完結，Falcons 雖只勝2場，但靠額外分已確保晉級準決賽。South Coast Sapphires已完成5場賽事排第四，Tornadoes四戰僅落後1分排第五，明天便知道最後一個準決賽席位誰屬。 明晚香港時間8時及12時將會分別上演Falcons對Tornadoes及Barmy Army對Warriors。 資料及相片來源 ︰ 香港板球

[2022年5月9日，杜拜] ：SDG FairBreak女子T20板球邀請賽2022的第五天，繼續會上演兩場比賽，頭場由Spirit對上South Coast Sapphires，兩隊均在昨天「開齋」力爭連勝，Spirit勝出擲毫並選擇先擊球。 陣容方面，Spirit有港隊成員Yasmin Daswani 擔任捕手一職，而South Coast Sapphires則有陳嘉瑩及賴穎琪披甲上陣。 South Coast Sapphires在比賽初段已經收到成效，第5回合已令對手3人出局，當中包括來自陳嘉瑩的投殺。頭三位投球手除每人各令1人 出局外，更合力限制擊球手的得分，這時Spirit僅得15分。 及後出場的Spirit隊長Nicola Carey和今年剛剛產後復出的Bismah Maroof 臨危受命，這對組合同時在場上擊球接近13個回合，第17.5球Nicola Carey被投殺時，Spirit得分達129分，她個人得分70分，共11個四分及1個六分。最後階段出場的Sophie Ecclestone 更是錦上添花，僅11球便擊出20分，四分及六分各有2球。Bismah Maroof也是留到最後，得分40分，共4個四分。Spirit最後以156分完成上半場。 今日的勝利之神似乎眷顧著投球手㥃，Spirit在4個回合便令4個擊球手出局，此時South Coast Sapphires得分25分。隨著擊球手們出局，陳嘉瑩得到上場的機會。一上場便面對住世界第1的Sophie Ecclestone，以及已經令3人出局的Ayabonga Khaka，陳嘉瑩並無怯場。其後轉換了數個投球手，陳嘉瑩開始展現她擊球的技術。第8.5球，她跪下把球打橫一掃，該球飛高直接砸中邊界，成為她在FairBreak的第1球六分。她夥拍澳洲的Jade Allen，把每回合得分保持在5分以上。第14.6球，她奮力將球打至空中，可惜被Sophie Ecclestone飛身接殺，最後得分22分，四分及六分各有1球，為South Coast Sapphires追至78分。 兩個回合後，賴穎琪得到擊球的機會。到第5球時，她本想上前擊球，不料未能擊中，被港隊副隊長Yasmin Daswani擊殺。最後South Coast Sapphires以55分之差不敵Spirit。南非的Ayabonga Khaka最後以4個回合，只失9分，共令5個擊球手出局，成為本場最佳球員。 第二場由力爭三連勝的Tornadoes迎戰Barmy Army，後者勝出擲毫並選擇先防守。今場將會見到港隊新秀Iqra Sahar代表Barmy Army上陣。 Tornadoes再次派出上場合共取得超過100分的Sophie Devine 和Sterre Kalis 開場，不過在2個回合內，她們就分別被阿聯酋的Kavisha Egodage 和英格蘭的Heather Knight 直接跑殺，合共僅得4分。其後出場來自南非的Sune Luus 和來自西印度群島的Stafanie Taylor 即時調整策略，先站穩陣腳，再把握機會得分。 第10回合，Iqra Sahar得到投球的機會，面對世界級的擊球手只被打了8分，這回合結束，Tornadoes得分47分。兩位擊球手入局後更是越戰越勇，其中第18回合得分高達18分。Sune Luus最後得分66分，共7個四分和1個六分，Stafanie Taylor得分78分，共8個四分和3個六分，帶領Tornadoes以150分完成上半場。 Barmy Army派出西印度群島的Deandra Dottin 和阿聯酋的Kavisha Egodage 開場，她們開局打風甚順，6個回合已合共擊出8個四分及1個六分，得分64分，每回合得分超過10分。10個回合後，Tornadoes仍未能擊破Barmy Army的開場組合。 Barmy Army在餘下的10個回合，只需再追56分，便能勝出比賽。在13.1回合，Tornadoes終於打破僵局，Kavisha Egodage 準備跑第2分時被跑殺，最後得分43分，共6個四分和1個六分。可惜這個wicket並未為Tornadoes挽回劣勢，其後出場的擊球手成功保持優勢，隊長Heather Knight 更在9球擊出4個四分，共20分，得分率為222。Barmy Army的開場手Deandra Dottin 在第15.5球擊出六分，超越對手分數。她最後得分56分，共5個四分和3個六分。 所有隊伍均完賽三場，Falcons、Barmy Army、Spirit 和Tornadoes各勝兩場，Falcons以1分額外分之差暫列榜首。 明天為休息日，下一比賽日在5月10號星期二，當晚香港時間8時及12時將會分別上演Warriors對Spirit及Barmy Army對South Coast Sapphires。 資料及相片來源 : 香港板球

Marrakesh will host Round 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on Saturday 2 July, Formula E and the FIA announced today. The Marrakesh E-Prix 2022 will again be held at the Circuit Automobile International Moulay El Hassan street circuit with the support of local authorities and restores the schedule of 16 races in Season 8 after the Vancouver E-Prix was postponed. Sixteen races is the biggest-ever race calendar in an ABB FIA Formula E World Championship season. It is the fifth time the Moroccan city of Marrakesh will host an E-Prix, subject to FIA World Motor Sport Council and ASN approval, following the Season 3 debut in November 2016 and further races in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Ahead of the Marrakesh E-Prix, Rounds 7 and 8 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship take place this weekend with the 2022 Shell Recharge Berlin E-Prix featuring a double-header of races on Saturday 14 May and Sunday 15 May. Stoffel Vandoorne currently leads the Drivers’ standings while his Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team currently tops the Teams’ championship.
