Red Bull運動員、兩屆世界跳繩錦標賽冠軍何柱霆Timothy為了推廣跳繩運動，跳出Studio走到戶外，跳盡南山邨、中環碼頭等香港景點，並且號召友好齊齊玩，加入舞蹈元素，拍攝了一段精彩影片，希望讓大家知道，跳繩無界限，全港都可以成為你的Playground！ Timothy今次拍攝「This is My Playground」主題的影片，到訪香港知名景點如摩天輪、維港海濱以及隱世打卡點南山邨等地方跳繩，以動感十足的跳繩動作為大家帶來感觀的刺激。說到在戶外跳繩練習，Timothy很有經驗，不過理由原來很實際：「因為戶外跳繩時間、地點都比較靈活，如果去Studio練習，就比較遠。」而且亦很多適合地點：「跳繩運動很適合香港，因為大家只要帶上一條如此輕便的繩，不需要很大的空間，只要安全又不會影響到人的地方，仍可以做到很多不同的花式，充滿挑戰及娛樂性！我比較喜歡在大埔區練習因為近屋住地點，但在戶外跳感覺是會Relax一點，可以在戶外透透氣，不過今次到不同地方隨心跳繩還真是第一次！」 不過說到第一次，今個拍攝亦令Timothy 跳出自己的comfort zone﹐今次跳的是Double Dutch交互繩加比較重的舞蹈元素，是先在日本興起的跳繩，比較著重節奏感及舞步排練，不少Double Dutch的運動員都是跳舞出身的，所以對Timothy來說是十分有挑戰性，他直言︰「是的，跳舞不是我主項，雖然花式跳繩也講求手腳協調但配上音樂是另一回事，跳繩動作稍為慢了便會甩拍子！今次跟他們一起拍攝覺得很好玩，感覺熱鬧得多，跟平時一個人的訓練很不同，所以跳繩真的有很多不多方式可以參與其中！」 拍攝影片的另一個難度位是Timothy的腳仍有傷患，而且拍攝過後很快便要迎接下一個虛擬跳繩賽事，他表示︰「現在正在錄片參加一個虛擬比賽，不過自己有腳傷，又有成員要考DSE，所以進度都只是一般。而且虛擬賽事的好處是可以無限地拍攝比賽用的影片直至自己滿意為止，不過這也可以是缺點，因為每一次總覺得可以做得更好，因此花上的時間更長，對體力的要求也更高！試過錄了很多次也不滿意，會感到十分氣餒。不過拍到自己滿意的作品便會安心很多，所以完成之後都會休養一下，準備8月的國際賽事。」Timothy不只要跳勻全港，還要繼續跳出香港，為港爭光呀！ Information and photo source : N Square / Red Bull HK

(2021年5月10日) 來自全球195個國家及地區、超過18萬4千名跑手昨日（香港時間5月9日晚上7時）透過手機APP連繫起來同時起步，參與Wings for Life World Run，為Wings for Life脊髓損傷研究基金籌款。結果俄羅斯選手Nina Zarina以60.2公里，繼2019及2020年後，連續第3年獲得女子全球總冠軍，瑞典的Aron Anderson則以66.8公里，繼2017及2018年後，再次贏得男子全球總冠軍。香港APP RUN方面，Lau Chun Kin以40.1公里蟬聯男子組冠軍。 Wings for Life World Run賽事報名費全數撥捐Wings for Life脊髓損傷研究基金，今年賽事成功籌得410萬歐元，讓基金得以繼續找尋治療癱瘓病人的方法。Wings for Life World Run昨日於香港時間晚上7時在跑馬地馬場緩跑徑起步，在Wings for Life World Run App這個應用程式的協助下，讓香港的選手與全球195個不同國藉、合共184,236名跑手，透過應用程式連結一起，從奧地利到澳洲，坦桑尼亞到香港，無論獨自跑步、抑或三五成群，跑手們全力奔跑避免終極者號(Catcher Car)、一條移動的終點線追趕令比賽完結。自2014年起，這項賽事已籌得3330萬歐元，跑手們累積合共跑了9,034,954公里。 3屆冠軍Aron Anderson表示：「賽事為我帶來了極大的樂趣，我很高興可以參與其中。 我同時要向其他參賽者表示感謝，因為他們都為研究治療脊髓受損的病人作出了重大的貢獻。」在香港方面，多位名人、運動員亦有透過Wings for Life World Run App參與這項慈善跑，包括：藝人余曉彤、跳繩運動員何柱霆等。此外，亦有傷健人士參與賽事，其中包括輪椅跑手藍天穎。藍天穎在18歲的時候遇到車禍導致脊髓C5、6的部份受損而半身不遂，他表示：「疫情持續一年多，很多比賽都無法舉行，很高興有Wings For Life的賽事，讓我可以出來透透氣。這個比賽更可以為脊髓受損的人籌款，十分有意義。 明年Wings for Life World Run將踏入第9屆，活動已定於5月8日（星期日)舉行，可以瀏覽以下網頁緊貼這項賽事的報名資訊以及重温2021的賽事片段： www.wingsforlifeworldrun.com Information and photo source : N Square / Red Bull HK

2021 MONACO E-PRIX (RD 7) - DS TECHEETAH's António Félix da Costa sealed victory in a last lap thriller on the legendary streets of Monaco in Round 7 of the 2020/21 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, ahead of Robin Frijns (Envision Virgin Racing) in second and Mitch Evans (Jaguar Racing) in third. - Da Costa, who started the race on Julius Baer Pole Position, played a pivotal role in an ever-continuing rotation for the lead, but made “one of the riskiest moves of his Formula E career” half way around the final tour of the race, taking home victory around the Principality. - Frijn's second place takes him to the top of the Drivers' standings ahead of previous points leader Nyck de Vries (Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team), with five points separating the pair going into the mid-season break. - Evans came home in third, although he was leading the race until the very last moment. Driver round-up Mercedes-EQ’s Nyck de Vries tops the driver standings heading into the race after claiming his second victory of the season at the DHL Valencia E-Prix (Round 5). With three wins from six so far, De Vries and Vandoorne are looking to double down in the Principality - both having driven to victory there in other categories. Monaco E-Prix Increases in car performance and range made throughout the Gen2 era have enabled Formula E to return to the Monaco E-Prix using a longer circuit layout. To mark the occasion, the LED lights on the halo will illuminate as the cars make their way through the famous Monaco tunnel for the first time in ABB FIA Formula E World Championship history. [2021年5月5日，香港]: 香港欖球總會(欖總) 今日宣佈前香港男子隊教頭和現任總經理(欖球營運) 賀爾(Andrew Hall)，將於8月離任並轉到英國Uppingham學校擔任欖球總監。 這位前蘇格蘭國腳於2010年來港在香港木球會（即現時香港大學沙灣隊的超級聯賽組別隊伍）擔任球會教練幹事(Club Coaching Officer)。在香港木球會的4年時光，他們曾贏得超級聯賽冠軍和3度晉身季後總決賽冠軍戰。賀爾其後擔任欖總的精英運動員水平發展總監(Head of Elite Player Development) 負責培育人才，之後再以男子欖球水平及發展總監(Head of Men’s Rugby Performance and Development)身份協助成立和管理「精英十五人欖球項目」，而該計劃將於6月完結。 賀爾十分感恩在欖總的成功仕途並說:「這是個難得的機會，我很感恩任職期間的每分每秒。利鍾斯(Leigh Jones)2010年將我從海外帶來香港，欖總的時光是我整個仕途收獲最豐盛的階段。我過去5至6年在欖總與戴里斯(Dai Rees)和利鍾斯共事下快速成長。這些都是非常寶貴的經驗。」 「這些賦予我成長的機會令我專業上和個人方面獲益良多。我在香港遇到我的妻子和孕育第一位孩子。我將掛念每日與教練、球員和欖總職員互動的時刻，但我將投身另一類似的環境，而Uppingham學校的獨特之處也令人非常雀躍。」 「這是我首個教育界的正式崗位，雖然我一直希望能長期在賽場發展興趣，但我很高興今年9月加盟Uppingham 學校。我非常期待到這所具前膽性的學校履新、繼續發展欖球項目和培養學生們的技巧。我十分期待感受Uppingham學校為學生提供的互動和精彩校園生活。我期待與家人回到英國和與Uppingham 社區的每一位見面。」 賀爾的球員生涯曾效力Glasgow Warriors、Newport Gwent Dragons、Moseley和蘇格蘭國家隊，並自2012年成為港隊助教，亦在2015年「世界盃」利鍾斯加入日本隊教練團時擔任港隊看守主教練 。他在2014年至2015年利鍾斯缺席期間帶領港隊參加了10場國際賽 ，這是對賀爾和港隊的一次挑戰，可惜首戰便在13,000公里外的蒙特維多(Montevideo)舉行的「世界盃2015外圍賽」向烏拉圭稱臣。 之後港隊仍被霉運纏擾，先後不敵俄羅斯、日本和韓國，寫下了5連敗，最後作客仁川擊敗韓國終止了頹勢並保持良好狀態至今(現時港隊世界排名第22位)。 香港之後勇奪首個「亞洲欖球錦標賽」冠軍，其他亮麗戰績還有在肯雅和庫克群島取得客勝、主場擊敗葡萄牙和津巴布韋，並在2018年第二次亮相「世界盃次輪外圍賽」。 賀爾續說:「在國際賽層面執教是一種無上光榮和挑戰，雖然起步並不理想，但結算下來我的勝仗比敗陣為多。」 賀爾感激利鍾斯豐富和開拓了他的高水平教練經驗和眼界，並道:「利氏在我個人成長方面舉足輕重，尤其是他從世界盃在艾迪鍾斯(Eddie Jones)和博域(Steve Borthwick)身旁共事後所帶回來的經驗及知識，皆讓我深受裨益。」 隨著「精英十五人欖球項目」於6月結束，賀爾認為這是他應用他的背景和熱情服務教育界的合適時機。他已取得新特蘭大學(University of Sunderland)碩士，並將於今年7月取得 Edinburgh Napier 大學(Edinburgh Napier)的高水平文化(High Performance Cultures)博士學位。 雖然未能率領港隊參加「世界盃2023」，賀爾相信已萬事俱備，他說:「縱使路途可能因為『精英十五人欖球項目』結束和疫情大流行而變得更崎嶇，2023應是可造之年。對我而言，『精英十五人欖球項目』的成立對香港欖球過去10年影響甚深，我對成立和管理它引以為榮。」 「該項目最成功之處是改變了欖球精英球員的行為及引入專業手法。項目即將轉為半職業模式，令球員展示出職業態度更形重要。但所有上層建築依然牢固，項目將在夏文(新任港隊教練)和運動員體能發展總監戴樂克(Luke Davey)的鞭策下繼續向前。 」 香港人應該對Uppingham 學校並不陌生，知名本地舊生有李國寶爵士、韓世灝和潘廸生。賀爾渴望在Uppingham 學校的遼闊運動場上累積個人收獲。 他最後說: 「我非常期待新挑戰和希望為新環境作出貢獻。成立『精英十五人欖球項目』、帶領球隊參加『世界盃』外圍賽最後階段及攻讀博士學位，令我更自信地為Uppingham 社區和當地欖球項目帶來正面影響。」 Information and photo source : Elite Step Asia / HKRU

由中國香港單車總會主辦的第一屆「2021 UCI國家盃場地單車賽(中國香港)」將於2021年5月13至16日假將軍澳單車館舉行。香港代表隊將派出兩男三女車手參賽，其中「牛下女車神」李慧詩（Sarah） 更事隔14個月後再戰世界級國際賽事，屆時將領軍與世界頂級車手同場較技，主場力爭佳績。 是次賽事將聚焦兩名香港隊東京奧運代表李慧詩及李海恩身上，對於港隊僅派出五名運動員，出戰主場上演的國家盃賽事，港隊總教練沈金康解釋：「由於中、長途的港隊運動員，將要參加中國公路錦標賽及中國場地單車錦標賽，實在趕不及回港參加國家盃。所以考慮到兩場錦標賽，跟準備在今年9月舉辦的全國運動會有緊密關係，故決定中、長途運動員不過來參加今次國家盃場地比賽。」對於兩位焦點港將今戰目標，沈金康透露：「李慧詩已經超過一年沒有比賽，希望通過國家盃比賽，在東京奧運會前，修訂最後階段的訓練。李海恩在4月尾舉行的中國場地單車聯賽，則受到隔離措施影響成績，故對照着奧運會可能實施跟國家盃相同的賽前隔離方式，亦希望她們透過今次經驗，對奧運會有好的結果。」 「2021 UCI國家盃場地單車賽(中國香港)」是國際單車總會 (UCI)改革國際場地單車賽程及長遠發展所訂定的全新場地賽事。作為東道主的香港隊成員，除了李慧詩及李海恩 (Jessica)，還有三名曾於亞洲盃躋身前五位的年輕小將羅子駿、杜棹熙及楊礎搖。本地車迷將可以透過電視直播，再次一睹李慧詩及李海恩的英姿外，更可全力支持多名新晉車手。四月尾曾經於國內參加中國場地單車聯賽的李海恩，將會為出戰東京奧運寓賽於操。她會角逐爭先賽、凱林賽、計時賽，以及偕同李慧詩和楊礎搖參與團體競速賽。至於港隊兩名男子車手羅子駿及杜棹熙，均在亞洲盃場地賽曾經躋身頭五位，前者更先後獲得2018年爭先賽及2019年個人計時賽銀牌。香港單車隊今次將於主場亮相，跟國際級車手合演高水平賽事，令人期待。 香港隊運動員名單及參賽項目 運動員 -- 參賽項目 李慧詩 (女) - 爭先賽、凱林賽、團體競速賽 李海恩 (女) - 爭先賽、凱林賽、計時賽、團體競速賽 楊礎搖 (女) - 團體競速賽 羅子駿 (男) - 爭先賽、凱林賽、計時賽 杜棹熙 (男) - 爭先賽、凱林賽 資料及相片來源 : N Square Company Limited / 中國香港單車總會有限公司

為致力推廣「全民運動」，香港乒乓總會今年開設「乒乓同樂賽」，以鼓勵更多市民體驗乒乓球的樂趣。首屆賽事周日（2日）假歌和老街乒乓球中心上演，男、女子組各4個組別賽事共192人參加，當中參賽者的年齡由7歲至72歲，真正達至全民運動的效果。 「第64屆體育節-第一屆乒乓同樂賽」由港協暨奧委會主辦、香港乒乓總會協辦，致力推廣全民運動。與一般賽事的參賽資格有所不同，「乒乓同樂賽」只讓「非2020及2021年度香港乒乓總會註冊球員」或「2021年第一期排名榜未有積分之球員」參加，賽事以單打賽進行，並採用單淘汰制及3局2勝制。首屆賽事男、女子組各有4個年齡組別，分別為兒童組（5-11歲）、少年組（12-17歲）、成年組（18歲或以上）及老友記組（60歲或以上）。 經過漫長的疫情，一眾球手苦等多時終於能夠再次踏上賽場，這日近200名球手雲集歌和老街乒乓球中心，分別角逐8個冠軍寶座，當中年紀最輕的就是男子兒童組的葉逸朗。今年7歲的他雖然身高僅僅高於球檯，但身手靈活，惜最終在8強被陳尚哲直落2局淘汰。居住於屯門的葉逸朗不單比賽，即使平日都會來到位於九龍塘的歌和老街乒乓球中心接受訓練，在應付學業的情況下還要乘坐逾1小時的車程來練習，但葉逸朗都未言辛苦：「因為很喜歡打乒乓球，所以不會覺得辛苦。早前因為疫情沒比賽，一直都很期待能夠再次踏上賽場，今日即使落敗都很開心，往後會更努力練習不斷進步。」 葉逸朗的爸爸葉泳川亦是一名乒乓球教練，因此逸朗自4歲起開始接觸乒乓球，葉泳川表示乒乓球讓逸朗變得更有鬥心：「以前他經常都留在家中，但接觸乒乓球後他慢慢開始喜歡打比賽，又會主動跟其他小朋友玩。」作為爸爸的他同樣要帶著逸朗長途跋涉從屯門來到九龍塘，但他都絕無半點怨言，並指：「做爸爸最緊要看到他開心，只要他開心、進步我就開心。」 除了一眾小朋友，老友記們亦相當投入賽事，當中今屆賽事年紀最大的陳建華更躋身女子老友記組決賽，惜她以局數1：2不敵鄭淑雲屈居亞軍。年屆72歲的陳建華已經接觸乒乓球近30年，早前因疫情長時間留家抗疫而甚少與「波友」相聚，因此她十分感激「乒乓同樂賽」能夠順利舉行：「很開心乒總能夠順利舉行這次賽事，可以讓我們一同享受乒乓球的樂趣，而且現場亦有很多防疫措施，讓我們打得安心又放心。」雖然已經年過70，但陳建華依然能活動自如，亦全賴有乒乓球：「每星期都有5日會到屋邨的俱樂部打乒乓球，除了可以舒展筋骨外，每球都有不同的變化，可以令腦筋更清晰。」 資料及相片來源 : 香港乒乓總會

/ Monaco is the next stop of the 2020/21 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship / Round 7 to take place on a brand new, longer circuit configuration – an adaption of the Formula 1 circuit 4 MAY 2021, BANBURY, UK – Fresh from its recent podiums in Rome and Valencia, Mahindra Racing will be back in action again this weekend for round 7 of the 2020/21 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on the hallowed racing streets of Monaco. Alexander Sims and Alex Lynn will drive the #29 and #94 M7Electros respectively for the Indian marque. This season will see the fourth edition of the Monaco E-Prix, with the event in the Principality taking place every other year. In the second edition, Mahindra Racing’s Nick Heidfeld finished on the podium in third, and last time out Pascal Wehrlein took the Fastest Lap accolade for the squad. For the 2021 Monaco E-Prix, teams will be racing on a much longer circuit than has previously been used, with the series moving to an adapted version of the full Formula 1 circuit that weaves its way around the harbour and through the streets of arguably the most iconic racing circuit in the world. Alexander Sims has driven the shorter circuit in 2019, whilst Alex Lynn has both Formula E experience on the track from the same year, plus previous experience on the longer track from his GP2 Series years, with a fourth and fifth place finish to his name in his second year in the F1 feeder series.
