SANTIAGO, CHILE (October 9, 2018) - Santiago will once again play host to the ABB FIA Formula E Championship in season five - featuring a new track in the surroundings of Parque O’Higgins for the second running of the Antofagasta Minerals Santiago E-Prix on January 26. Following on from the success of the electrifying debut on the streets of Santiago in February earlier this year, Formula E will be bringing fully-electric racing to Parque O’Higgins in the centre of the Chilean capital - subject to track homologation and approval of the FIA World Motor Sport Council. The Antofagasta Minerals Santiago E-Prix is set to host round three of the highly-anticipated 2018/19 season and will see the new-look Gen2 cars navigate their way around the perimeter roads of the park and along the esplanade of Parque O’Higgins - a venue which hosts numerous international events throughout the year. Antofagasta Minerals will not only become the race title sponsor for a second consecutive year in Santiago, but it has also expanded its affiliation with the electric street racing series as official copper mining partner. HONG KONG, CHINA—Hong Kong No. 1 Motin Yeung boldly declared that he’s “going for the trophy” at this week’s RMB 2 million Clearwater Bay Open in a last-gasp bid to finish in the top-five of the PGA TOUR Series-China Order of Merit and earn status on next year’s Web.comTour. Yeung, 25, won his first Tour title at the Kunming Championship in June and is currently seventh on the money list with RMB 522,850, more than RMB 100,000 behind fifth-placed Nick Voke of New Zealand, who has RMB 627,500. To have a chance of overtaking Voke, Yeung needs to at least finish third at The Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club, which would earn him RMB 136,000, while a runner-up finish (RMB 216,000) makes a top-five finish highly probable. 「畢馬威女子欖球超級聯賽」之「粉紅欖球活動」支持香港乳癌基金會 [2018年10月5日，香港]：「畢馬威女子欖球超級聯賽」今個星期六(10月6日)開鑼，8路娘子軍雲集京士柏運動場力爭打開勝利之門(賽事於下午1時30分開始) 。 香港嘉里酒店九龍欖球會(九龍)和 Transact 24 大埔龍欖球會(大埔龍)率先打頭陣，其後依次由SCAA第一太平銅鑼灣鳳凰欖球會(鳳凰)對無塑海洋城市欖球會Sparkle (城市欖球會) [下午3時] ，聯賽和總決賽雙料衛冕冠軍雞糊鷹隊(雞糊)將對Natixis香港足球會(港會)[下午4時30分] ，由法興銀行華利女子欖球會(華利)和Borrelli Walsh三軍會猛虎欖球會(猛虎)合演壓軸重頭戲[傍晚6時] 。 香港女子十五人欖球隊主帥及香港欖球總會高水平女子欖球總監侯祖瑟芬(Jo Hull)熱切期待新賽季，尤其是一些新元素將提高賽事競爭性，例如8支隊伍經過初輪賽事後便會分成上下兩區(各4隊) ，上區是「畢馬威女子欖球超級聯賽」區，而下區是「畢馬威女子欖球超級聯賽」A區。 侯祖瑟芬說: 「今季有很多令人期待的事情。」「上年季尾的賽事更見競爭性，我們以上下區模式將今季的白熱化階段推前。」 上季8隊分成兩區後會在季後總決賽重逢，但今季兩區各自有獨立的總決賽。侯氏續說: 「球員和球隊知道今季初段對爭取排名更重要。上年港會和大埔龍皆為第4名而『爭崩頭』。」 侯氏也很欣賞多名港隊新丁的聯賽表現，她說: 「很多新人包括半年前才跟港隊集訓的球員在上季獲得大量實戰機會和被委以重任，現在她們在聯賽已有立足之地。」 侯氏除了對聯賽充滿期待外，亦憧憬港隊11月的西班牙和威爾斯集訓之旅，她說: 「香港女子欖球已訂立明確目標。西班牙和威爾斯的世界排名在我們之上，但我們已鎖定2021年『世界盃』的目標，因為我們這些高水平的歷鍊。」 有部份港隊成員在上屆「世界盃」後退役，所以今次歐洲之旅有7個名額空缺，因此大家都力爭在聯賽有好表現來打動教練團。 她續說: 「港隊的集訓時間不多，所以球會的表現對港隊更見重要，現時有4至5名20歲以下代表隊一齊集訓，參加『超級聯賽』時的表現。」「聯賽的競爭性和球員的應對力以及球會達到我們的快速打法要求，對港隊實力提升很重要，因為我們要在體能和爭奪控球權時優於對手。」 「現今欖球對鬥牛陣戰術更講究，我們要好好訓練並在歐洲作實地測試。」 侯祖瑟芬也察覺到超級聯賽中有更多現役和退役國腳打滾的趨勢，她道: 「有幾支球隊的外援屬國腳級，這肯定能提升賽事水平。」「外間也有希望更多自家出品球員，但目前男女子聯賽也有很多好球員，本地球員亦需要累積更多優質經驗，只要拿捏得宜便有利而無害。」 侯祖瑟芬希望這些外援好手能每週賽事帶來衝擊，她道: 「今季的競爭性將更勝一籌，很多球隊也希望升班至超級聯賽。」「超級聯賽球隊精益求精的思維十分關鍵，我們會與他們緊密合作追求進步。」 「畢馬威女子欖球超級聯賽」如箭在弦，現只待球員一展身手而已。猛虎對華利一戰是上季聯賽亞軍和總決賽季軍狹路相逢，侯氏說: 「今場肯定是今週的矚目大戰，華利為一班『世界盃』退役戰將填補空缺，猛虎也增兵提升實力。九龍和大埔龍也旗鼓相當，所以今週的賽果可能為聯賽排名帶來一些啟示。」 「粉紅欖球活動」 香港欖球總會(欖總)很商興與香港乳癌基金會成為官方合作伙伴，欖總、香港乳癌基金會和畢馬威將在「世界乳癌月」(10月)攜手宣揚關注乳癌和籌款。 畢馬威將為「超級聯賽」10月內的每週焦點賽事的每次達陣捐出港幣100元正，善舉以10月27日在京士柏運動場舉行的「女子欖球日」為終點。 香港乳癌基金會在整日賽事期間現場提倡關注乳房健康和派發紀念品，亦歡迎公眾和球員支持粉紅欖球襪義賣，善款將捐予香港乳癌基金會。 資料及相片來源 : Elite Step Asia / HKRU
