Singapore, 9 July: The HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens – the biggest celebration of rugby in South East Asia - returns to the National Stadium on 13 and 14 April 2019. The first three editions of the SG7s held in 2016, 2017 and 2018 have grown from strength to strength and is slowly establishing itself as the “must go” event for Singaporeans and overseas visitors. Over 140,000 fans including 44,000 from overseas attended the first three tournaments. Rugby Singapore Chairman, Mr David Lim said: “The 2019 Singapore Sevens will, once more be promoted as much more than just world-class rugby entertainment on Singapore’s vibrant sporting calendar. 【香港，2018年7月4日】：傑志今日正式宣佈中場球員施素高已經落實加盟，該名曾效力華倫西亞、利物浦、祖雲達斯及巴黎聖日耳門等著名球會的球星將於新一季披上傑志的球衣作賽。 施素高現年33歲，司職防守中場。於2003年由歐塞爾加盟華倫西亞，並於該賽季為華倫西亞贏得歐洲足協盃冠軍及西班牙甲組足球聯賽冠軍。施素高於2005至2008年為利物浦效力3個賽季，這位曾代表利物浦上陣超過80場的球員，除了為球隊於2006年贏得足總盃，亦曾於2007巴克萊亞洲錦標賽前來香港獻技。2008年，施素高轉會加盟由雲尼亞里帶領的祖雲達斯，三個賽季共為斑馬軍團出戰100場比賽。之後，施素高分別效力於巴黎聖日耳門和費倫天拿，並於2013至2015年效力西甲球會利雲特，亦曾於2015球季效力上海申花。 施素高於法國出生，但選擇代表父親祖籍的馬里作賽，曾代表馬里34次。 傑志將於7月12日舉行新聞發佈會公佈有關新球季的詳情，介時施素高亦會出席並與傳媒朋友見面，傑志相信這名經驗豐富的防守中場將會成為球隊的重要一員。 資料及相片來源 : 傑志(體育管理)有限公司

香港棍網球男子代表隊明天(7月5日)將啟程前往以色列，出席7月11至21日舉行、四年一度的世界男子棍網球錦標賽。香港棍網球總會周一(7月2日)為港隊舉行歡送午宴，並獲得以色列駐港領使Mrs. Ahuva Spieler出席，為港隊介紹在以色列參賽期間要注意的事項。Mrs. Ahuva Spieler祝願港隊在今次世錦賽能破突上屆的成績。 原來有48隊參賽的世錦賽，隨着保加利亞及海地退賽，只餘下46支隊伍。為了減少賽程的改動，大會將原來與海地同組的荷蘭及挪威編入有保加利亞退賽的白組，加上日本隊，白組繼續保持總數3支隊伍。至於原來白組的烏干達則改與港隊同組，令港隊的橄欖組變成總數4支隊伍，而橄欖組的小組排名方面將會變成，1支小組首名，2支小組次名及1支小組第3名。雖然變動對小組出線形勢上影響不大，但由於港隊球隊要多應付一場賽事，對於體力回復或有一定影響。港隊將於7月11日當地時間晚上7時半在首場小組賽迎擊盧森堡，13日下午3時15分強戰波蘭、14日早上11時與烏干達交鋒。 港隊教練布思國表示：「如果可以選擇我們當然不希望多打一場小組賽，然而我們亦很榮幸可以面對一支非洲球隊。無論賽程有任何變動，希望球員可以專心一意應戰。」將第3次代表香港出戰世錦賽的進攻球員鄭長威表示：「多打一場小組賽的確會增加球員的體力要求。但從正面的角度看，由於加入了烏干達，我們可以在面對波蘭的比賽前，先看到波蘭對烏干達的賽事，了解到同組實力最強的波蘭的打法。」 盧森堡是首次亮相世錦賽的隊事。這個與法國、比利時及德國接壤的歐洲小國，自2016年成立總會以來，積極推廣棍網球運動，並於2017年中被國際棍網球協會接納為會員。目前盧森堡分別有1支男子隊及1支女子隊參與比利時聯賽，透過與鄰國的交流提高本身球員的水平。此外，盧森堡更從加拿大及英國聘用了5人教練團隊，希望藉此提高男子隊的水平。因為2022年世錦賽將增設外圍賽，新制度將會令決賽周的隊伍下調至30隊，盧森堡要確保參與資格必須加緊努力。 港隊第二場小組賽的對手波蘭目前世界排名20位，與第21位的港隊只差一位。上屆賽事，港隊曾以4: 14不敵波蘭。波蘭棍網球的發展曾經歷一段由部份北美球員主導的時間，但現在該國的棍網球運動已變得百分百本土，球員訓練、比賽溝通都是用波蘭語。2016年的歐洲錦標賽，波蘭以16名完成。上屆世錦賽，波蘭在7場比賽中取得3勝4負的成績，其中包括在小組賽以1球之微不敵小組首名的捷克，以及在17至20名名次賽中在兩度加時的情況下負於意大利手下。由此可見，波蘭將會是港隊本屆小組賽最強的對手。由2002參加世錦賽起，港隊在過去16年有顯著的進步，由只能擊敗新西蘭到上屆登上38隊中的第21名，8場比賽共取得5勝3負。相信港隊對波蘭一戰將會主宰港隊能否更上一層的命運。 至於新加入橄欖組的烏干達，隊中有部份球員曾效力以色列的棍網球超級聯賽。上屆世錦賽，該隊在小組賽敬陪末席，在之後名次爭奪戰則曾擊敗韓國及阿根廷，取得總數7場比賽中兩場勝仗，並以34名完成賽事。 資料及相片來源 :N Square Company Limited / Hong Kong Lacrosse Association

SANYA, CHINA (July 3, 2018) - Formula E is set to race in Sanya next season, marking the return of the electric street racing series to Mainland China on March 23 - for round six of the 2018/19 ABB FIA Formula E Championship. Sanya - a popular tourist destination on the southern tip of Hainan - will see the futuristic new-look Gen2 cars battling it out on the shores of the South China Sea. Formula E has previously raced in China, with Beijing hosting the first-ever E-Prix around the grounds of the Olympic Park in 2014 - as well as the opening round of season two. The teams and drivers will go wheel-to-wheel against the backdrop of Haitang Bay - with further details on the track layout to be revealed at a later date.
