MAY 18, 2025 AMSTERDAM (Netherlands) - Toulouse (FRA) rise to the top, defeating Liman (SRB) 21 - 19 in OT to win the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Amsterdam 2025 on May 18. The French side dominated the knockout phase, defeating the home side Amsterdam and Vienna to earn their spot in the final. They would go on to face undefeated Liman, whom they had already lost to in pool play. In the final, Liman started out the gate first through buckets on the inside before Toulouse answered back through Hugo Suhard. The electric Zigon went to work early for the Serbians while Toulouse went to Rambaut and Djoko to keep them within reach. Both sides continued to trade buckets, with a point separating them for the majority of the action. Liman were first to create some distance as a two from Marko Stevanovic put them ahead 10 - 7 with just over 4 minutes to go. The advantage stayed with the Serbian side until the last couple minutes of action, where the French rallied back thanks to timely twos from Jules Rambaut and paint work from Franck Seguela. Toulouse managed to take the lead thanks to the offensive duo, but a late two from Stevanovic tied things up with seconds to go at 19 apiece. Seguela managed to fire a shot that was assumed to be the winner at the buzzer, but was ruled out due to it being just after it sounded. The game went to OT, where Paul Djoko came in clutch, drilling the all-important two to hand Toulouse their first stop win of the season in dramatic fashion, a 21 - 19 thriller. The Joker was the hero was Toulouse, finishing the tournament with a team-high 29 points including 5 in the final against Liman. His impact both offensively and defensively made the French side unstoppable on the day and earned him MVP plaudits in Amsterdam. MAY 16, 2025 MANAMA (Bahrain) - A record-breaking number of delegates for a FIBA Mid-Term Congress were in attendance at the prestigious Exhibition World Bahrain today. The Plenary session took place in the morning, and an array of new services for National Federations was presented to the record 167 National Federations present in the afternoon session. As well as National Federations, the event was attended by His Highness Sheikh Issa bin Ali Al-Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia, and FIBA Foundation Board Member. Additionally, International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach contributed with welcome remarks via a video, followed by an address from FIBA President Sheikh Saud Ali Al Thani. He reminded the audience of the incredible momentum the sport is experiencing heading towards the next FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 in Qatar. FIBA Secretary General Andreas Zagklis provided an update to delegates on FIBA's strategy for the current cycle, while also continuing the theme of highlighting the sport's soaring popularity. This included the success and exposure it enjoyed in the lead up to and at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games - as well as the eye-catching growth of the women's game. Speaking after the Congress, FIBA Secretary General Andreas Zagklis stated: "We sincerely thank Bahrain for their exceptional hosting of this FIBA Mid-Term Congress and also thank the record number of National Federations who have joined us. "It's very rewarding to be able to reflect on the success of our sport alongside so many representatives of the FIBA Family – especially as we continue to witness basketball's popularity, growth and impact worldwide. Meanwhile, for the first time, 14 FIBA competition trophies were on display at the event, and the impressive silverware collection underlined the sport's global nature and the importance of this year's various Continental Cups and U19 World Cups. Congress also received a report from FIBA Treasurer Ingo Weiss, as well as reports from the organizations officially recognized by FIBA, including the FIBA Foundation and the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF). A number of amendments to the FIBA General Statutes were also approved by the Congress. Delegates were then able to find out more about the new services that are currently available for National Federations in the afternoon session and were introduced to several major initiatives, including the official launch of the FIBA Academy, FIBA's digital transformation, the expansion of eFIBA, and the introduction of AI-powered solutions for digital and media asset management. Attendees are now looking forward to a series of breakout sessions covering various topics such as FIBA's strategic priority Women in Basketball, the FIBA Plus program, young players and the NCAA, 3x3, and Olympic Solidarity. There will also be an opportunity to see the FIBA Hall of Fame Class of 2025 ceremony at the Bahrain National Theatre, when seven players and one coach will be inducted in recognition of their accomplishments in the sport. MAY 15, 2025 MANAMA (Bahrain) - FIBA's Central Board has convened in Bahrain on the eve of the FIBA Mid-Term Congress, following their attendance at the highly anticipated FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Qualifiers draw in Doha, Qatar, the host nation for the men's flagship event. The following topics were discussed: FIBA Basketball World Cups - 2026 & 2027 The Central Board received reports on the preparations for both the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026, which will be held in Germany, and the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 to be played in Qatar. The Central Board approved the bidding process for the next two World Cups with the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2030 process to be launched in quarter three of 2025 and potential awarding as of December 2025, and the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2031 to be launched in quarter four of 2025 and potentially awarded as soon as next year. To enhance the prominence of FIBA's flagship women's tournament, the Central Board has approved the rescheduling of future FIBA Women's Basketball World Cups to the period of November-December, with the 2030 edition set to take place from November 27 to December 8, 2030. Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 Preparation updates for the LA28 Olympic Games were presented to the Central Board for both basketball and 3x3 basketball, highlighting the recent increase in the number of 3x3 teams, which will now feature an expanded roster of 12 teams per gender in Los Angeles. The Final Six concluded on April 13, in Zaragoza, Spain, with ZVVZ USK Praha claiming victory, their second title after defeating CBK Mersin. The 24-25 season has had another stunning year of digital growth and record-breaking levels of fan engagement, with levels continuing in an upward trajectory. 3x3 Reports were presented on 3x3's National Team Competitions and Professional Circuit, including the FIBA 3x3 World Tour, which tipped off on April 26 with the Utsunomiya Opener 2025, and the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series, which began on May 2 in Chengdu, China. The Central Board has approved the change in the FIBA 3x3 Federation Ranking. Starting in 2026, the 3x3 Federation Ranking will be calculated based on a 24-month period, instead of the previous 12-month window, meaning that the Road to LA28 starts on December 1, 2025. This adjustment ensures a more consistent and representative evaluation of national team performance over time. FIBA Plus The Central Board received an update on FIBA Plus, emphasizing the ongoing support for 35 National Federations in 2025, as well as the launch of six new strategic roadmaps for participating federations. The Rwandan Amateur Basketball Federation (FERWABA) has recently completed its FIBA Plus workshop. Building on the benefits gained from FIBA Plus in 2019, the federation aimed to leverage the expertise and skills gained from their previous workshop and is now developing a dynamic new plan for the sport in the country for the 2026-2030 period. Other Matters Following the recommendation of the expert group focused on Young Players and the NCAA created in December 2024, the Central Board has defined three objectives to maintain a sustainable ecosystem, focusing on helping players make well-informed decisions, increase availability of NCAA players for their national team and to help protect clubs' investments into player development. The decision was made to engage formally the NCAA with the goal of treating moves from players outside the USA to NCAA colleges in the same way as international transfers between FIBA clubs, using a Letter of Clearance. The Central Board also approved the FIBA 2024 Consolidated Financial Statements. （2025年5月15日）香港足球會渣打七人足球賽本周末於體育路香港足球會場館開鑼， 白禮頓隊長Mullins對其球隊充滿信心，相信他們擁有足夠經驗及實力去衛冕2025年度冠軍名銜。 白禮頓去年於決賽以2-0擊敗阿士東維拉，首次成為七人賽王者，今年他們將於星期六小組賽首場賽事迎戰友誼聯賽選手隊，再迎戰橫濱水手及新加坡足球會。 主賽事每個小組首兩隊球隊將晉級淘汰賽。白禮頓隊長Mullins相信其球員具備足夠能力及戰術靈活度以衝擊周日決賽並再次奪冠。 曾於2023年出戰香港足球會七人足球賽，但去年因腳踝傷患而未能出賽的白禮頓隊長Mullins表示：「去年我們表現十分出色，我們今年將會盡力再次贏出比賽。我們的陣容很不錯。今年有幾位球員都曾經參加過這項賽事，所以他們對這個比賽已有經驗。另外，我們也有一些年輕球員希望能在下個賽季前爭取好表現。我們會按照自己的風格來出賽，不會作出太多改變，現在大家都很期待上場作戰。去年我們表現十分出色，能夠靈活應對每場比賽。你會遇到來自世界各地不同球隊，每支球隊的戰術佈局和踢法都不同，在比賽中我們能不斷學習，逐場應對，看看會發生什麼事年情。」 主賽事共有四支英格蘭球隊出賽，白禮頓為C 組頭號球隊；七屆冠軍阿士東維拉將在A組對陣澳洲西部聯、澳門足球總會以及港會隊長選手隊。 B 組則包括李斯特城、荷蘭阿爾克馬爾、香港U22及香港足球會；而韋斯咸、北愛爾蘭北拉恩、標準流浪及新加坡木球會則屬D組。 女子組賽事亦將於周五正式回歸，女子組賽事自2024年首次亮相，今年首次迎來海外球隊，這項賽事規模日益壯大。 本地球隊 TSL、傑志及香港足球會將與來自威爾斯的域斯咸，以及泰國春武里和新加坡的Eastern Thunder一較高下。 去年帶領車路士足球學校，現稱TSL的隊長Yasmin Sung表示：「去屆是別具歷史意義的精彩賽事。我回想起都充滿喜悅。今年我們迎來海外球隊，這讓比賽變得更加盛大和精彩。這次的比賽將會更加艱難。來參賽的球隊都是各自聯賽中的頂尖隊伍，但我很期待看到他們的比賽水平，也想看看我們與他們對賽時的表現。這也是一次學習的機會。我們隊中的年輕球員可以獲益良多。」 域斯咸隊長Lili Jones志在將獎盃帶回威爾斯：「我們很期待比賽開始，看看這項賽事到底是怎樣的。參加比賽如果不以奪冠為目標，那就沒有意義。我們有自己想要踢的方式，希望能在比賽中做到，但我們的目標是贏出比賽，希望我們能做到。」 廣受歡迎的名人賽也將於週五開鑼，屬於A組、去年奪得亞軍的新加坡足球會名人冀能更上一層樓，同組球隊包括九龍木球會、港會精英及新加坡木球會名人；而兩屆冠軍禾辛特男童會將於B組迎戰愉景灣、香港足球會名人隊及友誼聯賽選手明星隊。 資料及相片來源 : Ludus Concepts / 香港足球會 / 香港足球會渣打七人足球賽

2025年5月14日 * 謝咏霖將於連續三星期，出戰意大利，摩納哥，以及西班牙三個FIA F3分站賽事 * 這次亦將會是謝咏霖首次參加著名的摩納哥格蘭披治賽 * 曾獲獎無數的謝咏霖，期望以F3賽事為跳板，尋求晉升至F1的道路 年僅18歲的中國賽車新秀謝咏霖(Gerrard)，即將迎接他首次參加國際汽聯三級方程式錦標賽(FIA F3)賽季以來最大的挑戰，他將於本週末開始，連續三星期出戰三個分站賽事，率先進行的意大利站，將於本週末5月16-18日在伊莫拉賽道(Imola Circuit)展開。 2025年的F3錦標賽的第三、第四和第五賽站，將連續於三星期內舉行，密集的賽程將考驗所有車手的體能極限。 對於今季展開其首個F3賽季的謝咏霖來說，三連賽的挑戰將更為艱鉅。這位駕駛16號Hitech賽車的中國車手，從未曾到訪該三條賽道參賽。 在這一連三場的賽事之前，FIA F3已分別於三月份在墨爾本，和四月份在巴林舉行首兩站的比賽。在這兩站賽事中，謝咏霖於競爭激烈的比拼中展現出堅強的決心，在墨爾本賽上提升了9個位置，在巴林賽上更衝上10個名次。 為了備戰接下來的三連賽，謝咏霖在完成巴林站賽事後稍作休息。但這此期間，密集的體能鍛練和賽車模擬器的訓練從未間斷。 接下來的三連賽，將會為謝咏霖提供一個最佳的密集強化環境，使他能不斷提升其駕駛2025年全新款式的Dallara Formula 3賽車的技巧，並力求在每一場比賽中都能有所進步。 每個分站都將包括練習賽，排位賽，衝刺賽和正賽。意大利伊莫拉站，和西班牙巴塞隆拿站的比賽，將在週五至週日期間進行；而摩納哥站的賽事，則將會在週四至週日進行合共四天的比賽。 總長4.909公里，位置意大利中北部的伊莫拉賽道，是少數以逆時針方向作賽的主要國際賽道之一。賽道狹窄且技術性要求高，超前的機會亦十分有限，還有結合高速彎道和高難度的剎車區組合，都要求車手具備高超的技巧和精準的操控能力。 在伊莫拉賽站之後，便是世界聞名的摩納哥蒙地卡羅賽道(Monte Carlo)。能夠到這裡參賽，是謝咏霖的童年夢想。蜿蜒曲折的蒙地卡羅賽道由街道組成，賽道高低起伏變化多端，而且異常狹窄，多個急彎以及缺乏緩衝區等要素，時刻都在考驗車手的體力和專注性。儘管賽道極具挑戰，但這裡亦是所有車手夢寐以求到來參賽的地方。 三連賽的最後一場賽事，謝咏霖將來到長4.657公里，西班牙著名的巴塞隆拿賽道(Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya)。這個將舉辦本賽季第五站賽事的賽道，以其技術性和流暢的佈局著稱，其包含高低速混合的彎道，長長的直路，高低起伏的變化，和對空氣動力方面的平衡要求，都為車手帶來無比挑戰。 來自粵港澳大灣區的謝咏霖，最初在小型賽車比賽上嶄露頭角，之後在2022年中國四級方程式錦標賽中一枝獨秀，以令人驚艷的取得13場比賽勝利而贏得總冠軍。Gerrard隨後前往歐洲參加GB3錦標賽，進一步磨練駕駛技巧，並多次獲得勝利和頒獎台席位。今年起他晉升至FIA F3賽，期望專注於獲取寶貴的作賽經驗，並繼續向攀登上F1賽的目標邁進。 支持謝咏霖的車迷朋友，可以透過官方的賽事直播觀看2025年FIA F3錦標賽第三、第四和第五站比賽。 謝咏霖 16號Hitech車隊三級方程式車手 「在完成F3錦標賽首兩站賽事的一個月後，連續三個週末進行三站比賽將是個全新的挑戰，我對此亦感到非常興奮。在巴林站結束後，我休息了一段時間，與車隊一起花大量的時間進行體能和模擬器訓練，為三連賽做準備。我以前從未去過這三條賽道，毫無疑問，它們都是賽車的經典賽道，擁有令人印象深刻的歷史。我尤其渴望挑戰摩納哥賽道，其實每一個週末都讓我充滿期待，並且渴望能不斷進步，我仍在努力適應F3給我的挑戰。在我們準備就緒之際，我想再次感謝Hitech車隊，我的父母以及所有在這段旅程中支持我的人。我期待在接下來的這個月裡能取得什麼成績。」 資料及相片來源 : CBR Media / 謝咏霖
