【2025年12月15日】2025/26 全國男子籃球聯賽（NBL）今日舉行新賽季發佈會，正式公布新賽季的參賽球隊名單、賽制及多項重要安排。新賽季賽程將於 12 月 20 日正式展開，作為衛冕之師的香港金牛將於揭幕戰率先亮相，作客鬥貴州猛龍。屆時賽會亦將舉行上季總冠軍戒指頒贈儀式，為新一季賽事揭開序幕，象徵新一輪冠軍爭奪正式展開。香港金牛期望以勝仗打響新季頭炮，邁出衝擊第三座 NBL 總冠軍獎盃的第一步。 聯賽自本季起全面調整賽程，改革為與 CBA（中國男子籃球職業聯賽）同步於 12 月開季，為國內職業籃球一體化改革做好準備。新一季聯賽規模亦持續擴大，參賽球隊數目增至 14 隊，匯聚來自全國不同省市的高水平勁旅，競爭形勢預料較上季更為激烈。按照賽制，14 支球隊將於常規賽階段進行雙循環作賽，積分榜首 8 名可晉身季後賽，爭奪總冠軍殊榮。 香港金牛作為全港唯一參賽代表，肩負展示香港籃球競技水平及職業化成果的重要使命。隨着聯賽發展日趨成熟，NBL 亦逐步成為本地與內地籃球人才交流、職業化發展，以及城市體育文化展示的重要平台，備受各界關注。 主場安排方面，由於過往三季沿用的灣仔修頓室內場館未能符合國際籃球聯會（FIBA）相關場地標準，球隊今季未能繼續以該場地作為主場。球隊在休季期間已視察全港所有合適場地，並在政府及多方協調下，積極嘗試尋找合適場地留港作賽；同時亦作出周全部署，備選場地將設於大灣區，以確保賽事能順利舉行。新賽季香港金牛首場主場賽事將於 12 月 24 日平安夜上演，對手為上海玄鳥，比賽地點將稍後公布。 香港金牛連續兩季贏走NBL總冠軍，為香港職業籃壇寫下重要里程碑，開啟屬於香港的籃球黃金時代。踏入新賽季，球隊以實現「三連霸」為明確而堅定的目標，在原有冠軍核心陣容基礎上再度補強，整體戰力全面升級，誓言再次向最高榮譽發起衝擊。同時，香港金牛將持續加大對本地球員的培育與投入，為更多香港年輕籃球員創造實戰舞台與成長空間，推動本地籃球長遠而可持續的職業化發展. 資料及相片來源 ：N Square Company Limited / 香港金牛籃球俱樂部

Sunday, 14 December 2025 Cetilar Racing had the perfect weekend. After taking victory in the first race on Saturday, Roberto Lacorte, Charles Milesi and Antonio Fuoco stood on the top step of the Sepang podium for a second time after a strong performance in Sunday’s race. The Malaysian weather played a critical role in the outcome of the race with rainstorms hitting the Sepang area several times, forcing the teams to change strategies on more than one occasion. There were three Virtual Safety Car /Safety Car and two Full Course Yellow periods during the course of the race. The race ended with a red flag 20-minutes before the end of the race when the heaviest rain of the day flooded the track while the competitors were behind the Safety Car for an earlier incident and were all on slick tyres. The no47 Cetilar Racing Oreca finished ahead of the no25 Algarve Pro Racing, with the no4 Crowdstrike by APR finishing third in a carbon copy of the podium in Race 1. CLX MOTORSPORT TAKES LMP3 VICTORY Victory in LMP3 went to the no17 CLX Motorsport Ligier, with Paul Lanchere burning the two mandatory 100 second long pitstops during the first Virtual Safety Car period, a gamble that paid off later in the race allowing the Swiss team to take the win. ELMS Champion Lanchere stood on the top step of the podium alongside Kevin Rabin and Alexander Jacoby, with the no71 23Events Racing and the no29 Forestier Racing by VPS Ligiers finishing second and third respectively. KESSEL RACING SECURE ANOTHER VICTORY IN SEPANG Kessel Racing scored the maximum 25-points in the second race in Sepang, with Dustin Scott Blattner rapidly moving up through the field in the opening laps to hold third after starting from a lowly 15th place on the grid. The Swiss team made the right decisions regarding tyres at the right time and the strategy paid off as both Chris Lulham and Dennis Marschall were able to take the lead of the GT class and finish at the head of the 22 car GT grid at the end of the race. The no69 Team WRT BMW M4 had had an engine change overnight to cure a power issue that plagued the car’s performance in race one. The result was a strong performance by the Belgian team that saw Tony McIntosh, Parker Thompson and Dan Harper finish second ahead of the no87 Origine Motorsport Porsche, the Chinese team also showing a lot of potential with Bo Yuan impressing everyone with his speed from 14th on the grid to be challenging for the lead during his long stint. Saturday, 13 December 2025 Giorgio Roda secured pole position for the first 4 Hours of Sepang races adding another pole to the six he secured during from the 2024/25 season. The Italian lapped the Sepang circuit in the no5 United Autosports Oreca in a best time of 1m55.614, finishing 0.588 seconds ahead of the rest of the field. Jens Reno Moller will start race 1 on the front row after posting a best lap of 1m56.202, but the Dane’s second fastest lap of 1m56.262 was good enough to claim pole position in the no49 High Class Racing Oreca-Gibson at the end of the 15-minute qualifying session. The no43 Inter Europol Competition Oreca will head the second row for this afternoon’s race after Georgios Kolovos set a 1m56.382 lap, with the Greek drivers second best time good enough to move the car up to the front row for Sunday’s race ahead of the no5 United Autosports Oreca. The no20 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca of John Falb was 4th fastest ahead of the no22 Proton Competition and the no3 DKR Engineering who will start in 5th and 6th respectively for this afternoon’s race. CLX MOTORSPORT HEAD LMP3 GRID 2025 European Le Mans Series Champion Paul Lanchere posted the two best lap times of the qualifying session to claim pole for race 1 this afternoon and pole for race 2 on Sunday. The session was halted before a single lap time was posted when the no13 Inter Europol Competition Ligier of Alex Bukhantsov slid off the track and into the gravel at T11, bringing out the red flag. The session resumed after the car was recovered to a safe location, with 12 minutes left on the clock. Lanchere set the early pace with a benchmark 2m12.900, the French driver lower the time several times with his best lap of 2m12.401 set in the final minute of the session. The two Team Virage Ligiers finished second and third after switching to wets halfway through the session. The no8 Ligier of Romain Vozniak will start this afternoon’s race on the front row with the French driver posting a 2m12.670, 0.6 seconds ahead of his teammate Julien Gerbi in the no1 Team Virage Ligier. The no71 23Events Racing Events will start in 4th, with the no85 R-ace GP Duqueine in 5th. DOUBLE GT POLE FOR JMR AT HOME TRACK Malaysian team will start both 4 Hours of Sepang races from the front of the GT grid after Australian Yasser Shahin posted the two best times of the 15-minute session in the no66 Corvette. Overnight rain had left a wet track, giving the teams a dilemma of what tyres to use in the session, with wets being the correct choice. The no66 Corvette started on slicks and swapped to wets halfway through the session, which then saw the car leap from last place into provisional pole with just three seconds left on the clock. Shahin then set the second fastest time of the session at the chequered flag to take pole for Sunday’s race. The no37 QMMF by Getspeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO will start on the front row after Abdulla Ali Al-Khelaifi set the early pace in the 15-minute session. The Qatari’s best lap of 2m19.467 was 0.231s behind the pole time. The Malaysian weather continued to provide the teams with a dilemma with regards to tactics, with rain falling during the first hour of the race. Four Safety Cars and two Full Course Yellow periods also added to calculations, with all three classes finishing with just a couple of seconds between first and second in LMP2, LMP3 and GT. In LMP2 the early running was made by the no43 Inter Europol Competition Oreca, with Georgios Kolovos keeping Giorgio Roda in the no5 United Autosports and the no20 Algarve Pro Racing driven by John Falb. At the halfway stage of the race United Autosports were running 1-2 with no6 Oreca of ben Hanley leading the no5 Oreca of Gregoire Saucy, with Louis Deletraz closing up in the no4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR. Deletraz passed Saucy for second and then took the lead when Hanley headed to the pits to hand back to the first driver Phil Fayer, who had to complete one lap before handing to Paul Di Resta. The no47 Cetilar Racing had worked its way up the field in the hands of Charles Milesi and the car went into the lead in the hands of Antonio Fuoco. However a five second penalty for a FCY infringement meant the Italian had to pull away from the rest of the field, led by Malthe Jakobsen in the no4 Oreca. Fuoco managed to pull out a big enough lead to pit for a final splash of fuel, serve the five second penalty and get back out in front of the no25 Algarve Pro Racing of Tom Dillmann, who had managed to get past Jakobsen in the pitstops. Dillmann pushed hard by Fuoco held on to take the chequered flag for Cetilar Racing from Dillmann and Algarve Pro Racing, with Jakobson taking the final podium position for Crowdstrike Racing by APR. INTER EUROPOL WINS LMP3 RACE The LMP3 field was decimated in the second corner with five of the ten cars in the category suffering damage, with two, the no1 Team Virage and no71 23Events Racing Ligiers not going any further and the other three rejoining several laps down. After a good first stint by Paul Lanchere, CLX Motorsport was over a lap ahead of their nearest rivals. A damaged legality panel delayed the Swiss team and Alexander Jacoby rejoined in the middle of the chasing no13 Inter Europol Competition and no94 High Class Racing Ligiers. The class win went to Inter Europol Competition Ligier, a great result for the Polish team after starting at the back of the grid. Henry Cubides held off a determined challenge from Callum Voisin in the no94 High Class Racing Ligier, crossing the line just 0.218s ahead. The no17 CLX Motorsport came home third, 23 seconds further up the road. GETSPEED WINS GT AFTER MANTHEY PENALTY The GT category saw the no37 QMMF by Getspeed Mercedes-AMG set the pace with Abdulla Ali Al-Khelaifi pulling out a sizeable lead after a good battle with the no87 Origine Motorsport Porsche of Bo Yuan. However, a couple of penalties for the no37 Mercedes-AMG dropped them out of contention, with the lead being picked up by their teammates in the no9 Mercedes-AMG. Fabien Schiller was looking good to take the chequered flag in the final 30-minutes of the race, while the battle for second was led by the no87 Origine Porsche. However, they all had to take a late stop for a splash of fuel and the no9 Mercedes-AMG emerged behind the no10 Manthey Porsche and ahead of the no56 Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn Aston Martin. Schiller quickly regained the lead but was under pressure from Loek Hartog in the no10 Porsche, with the Dutch driver pushing his German rival in every corner. They were nose to tail into the final corner with the Porsche getting alongside the Mercedes-AMG. The two cars collided but both kept going, with Hartog getting the best run out of the corner to take the chequered flag by just 1 second, with Jonny Adam taking the final podium position in the Ecurie Ecosse Blackthorn Aston Martin, just 1.7 seconds behind the winning car. DECEMBER 12, 2025 MIES (Switzerland) - The countdown to Los Angeles 2028 is already underway, with teams now able to see how they can realise their Olympic dreams after a new qualification system was launched for what will be 3x3 basketball's third appearance at the Games. With only USA guaranteed a spot as Olympic host, a further 11 tickets are available for both the men's and women's competitions. A total of 5 places will be allocated to top-ranked National Federations (through Regional allocation) as of December 1, 2027, with the 6 additional spots determined by four Qualifying Tournaments to be held between March and June 2028. After the stellar success of Paris 2024 when 3x3 basketball was played in front of spectators for the first time, interest in the number one urban team sport in the world is expected to soar even higher this time around. This will be fueled by what promises to be an entertaining and absorbing 'Road to LA 2028'. Here's how the 12 teams per gender field for LA 2028 will be determined. Top-Ranked Federations A total of 5 spots per gender will be determined by the FIBA 3x3 Federation Ranking as of December 1, 2027. The top ranked countries in Africa , the Americas , Europe and Asia-Pacific , thereof at least 1 from Asia) in securing their respective Olympic tickets. In May 2025, the FIBA Central Board agreed a significant change to the FIBA 3x3 Federation Ranking process, expanding it to cover a 24-month period, rather than 12 months. Making sure that every game counts, the Ranking is already live after coming into effect on December 1, 2025. By the end of 2027, exactly half of the Olympic 3x3 basketball lineup for both the men and women's competitions will have been confirmed. This will be the Olympic host, USA , plus the top-ranked in the FIBA 3x3 Federations Ranking through the Regional allocation . Attention will then turn to what is already shaping up to be four unforgettable Qualifying Tournaments in 2028. These will determine which countries take the last 6 remaining tickets for each gender. 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournaments A total of 2 tickets per gender will be available for each of the 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournaments that will be organized by FIBA. 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament - Universality will be the first to be played and will feature 12 teams. Based on Universality, the field will be made up of the Qualifying Tournament host and another 11 teams based on their FIBA 3x3 Basketball Federation Ranking, albeit limited to countries that did not play in the discipline of Basketball in Tokyo 2020 and/or Paris 2024. 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament – Ranking will be the second to be played and will also feature 12 teams. Based on ranking, the field will be made up of the Qualifying Tournament host and another 11 teams based on their FIBA 3x3 Basketball Federation Ranking. Meanwhile a total of 1 ticket per gender will be available for the winner of each of the Olympic Qualifying Tournaments that FIBA is currently planning to include as part of the Olympic Qualifiers Series (OQS) for the first time. The third 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament is currently planned to be integrated in an Olympic Qualifier Series (OQS) Tournament and will be based on Cup winners. The field will be made up of the Qualifying Tournament host and another 7 teams. The teams will be the following: Host , Champions Cup 2026 , Champions Cup 2027 , Each Continental Cup , World Cup 2027 The fourth and last Olympic Qualifying Tournament is also currently planned to be integrated in an Olympic Qualifier Series (OQS) Tournament and will be based on the FIBA 3x3 Basketball Federation Combined Ranking. December 12, 2025 BEIRUT (Lebanon) - The FIBA Regional Office-Asia on Friday, December 12, has confirmed that Thailand and Malaysia will split hosting duties of the highly anticipated FIBA U18 Women's Asia Cup next year. Malaysia will host the Division A competitions while Division B is set to be played in Thailand as the 27th edition of the biennial competition, to be held in September, is coming to Southeast Asia for the first time in 10 years. The last time that the tournament was held in the region was in 2016 in Bangkok, which saw China win the fourth of a rare 'five-peat' by beating long-time rivals Japan in the Final by way of a lopsided 78-47 result. Next year, Thailand will host the second division for the first time, where the participating teams - which will be confirmed at a later date - will vie for promotion to Division A for the following edition in 2028. Malaysia, on the other hand, will be welcoming the U18 Women's Asia Cup after 13 years. The country last hosted the event in 2012 in Johor Bahru, in which China won the second of five consecutive championships. This marks the second straight year that Malaysia will play host to a FIBA youth event after the successful staging of the U16 Women's Asia Cup in Seremban last October, where Australia completed a historic 'four-peat.' Australia are coming into the 2026 U18 Women's Asia Cup looking to win the gold medal for the third time in a row after completing the back-to-back in the 2024 tilt in Shenzhen after beating China in the Final, 96-79. Last year's contest, which saw the rise of several stars most notably Chinese wunderkind and eventual MVP Zhang Ziyu, concluded with major success after garnering massive numbers, especially on live streaming.
